Mike Woodson was the brother in-law of Bud Ross who ran Kustom. Kustom was based in Chanute Kansas and Woodson was a company based in Bolivar Missouri that utilized components and electronics internals from Kustom. Many of Woodson's designs were very much influenced by or borrowed from Kustom but with different cosmetics.
