We celebrated Transgender Visibility Day on March 31 with a photo session with our guitar teacher and top "And Friends" crew, Erin Martinez! Erin is a beloved guitar teacher here at Sunflower & Friends and has been one of our best friends for over 12 years. She helped us conceptualize Sunflower & Friends many years before opening the shop!In addition to being an incredible skilled guitarist, Erin is also an audio engineer, writer, and kind friend to all! Here she posed with her Telecaster lovingly dubbed the Transcaster after she gave it a trans flag paint job awhile back. This is a great time to reflect on equality and look into the anti-trans legislation being proposed all around the country that can hurt Trans folks if passed. We love you Erin!
